What Usually Drives Cost

Keeping the plumbing layout similar is one of the most effective ways to control budget. Moving walls, relocating wastes or upgrading hidden services adds cost that isn't visible in the quote until the walls open up. We scope for this honestly before demolition begins.

Bathroom Renovation FAQs

Can I renovate a bathroom for $10,000?

Sometimes — if the scope is tight and the layout stays largely the same. A simple refresh (new fixtures, tiles, no plumbing moves) can fit within this range. Full renovations with layout changes typically sit much higher.

What changes the price most?

Layout changes, plumbing relocation, tile area, waterproofing repairs uncovered during strip-out, and fixture selection are the biggest variables.

How long does a bathroom renovation take?

A standard full renovation typically runs 2–4 weeks on site. Material lead times, existing-condition issues and trade sequencing can affect this.

Do you coordinate all the trades?

Yes — plumbing, tiling, waterproofing, electrical and any structural work are coordinated as part of our project management process.

Should I keep the layout the same?

If budget control is the main goal, retaining the plumbing layout is one of the easiest ways to manage cost. If usability is poor, a layout change may be worth the extra investment.
